Under the general direction of the Manager, Financial Systems and exercising independent judgment and decision-making within the scope of the job, the Sr. Financial Systems Analyst provides business, technical and Workday Financial Data Model product knowledge and support. The Financial Analyst is responsible for the support, configuration, and maintenance of the Workday Financial Data Model. The Financial Analyst will help assure consistently stable day-to-day systems operations; customer satisfaction; improvement in the department’s use of technology. In addition serves as a team member on Financial systems projects as assigned and performs other duties as requested to help ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Job Description:

  • Support the FDM team in all aspects of managing the Workday foundation data model including data analysis, validation of reporting, security and chart of accounts.

  • Maintenance of Cost Center Management Hierarchy - used for all HR, Finance & SCM approval workflows.

  • Review and fix all Operational Journals in Error (Payroll, Expense reports, Supplier Invoices, etc).

  • Assist with the on-going Workday training and support to all Finance and end users.

  • Workday monthly statistical and hours data loads and reconciliation.

  • Review and respond to all Workday tickets for Finance and end users.

  • Maintain mapping files used for EHR and payroll interfaces.

  • Assist with maintaining the integrity of Financial Systems data and processes.

  • Participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.

Licensure, Certification & Registration:

None

Experience:

One year of Workday related work experience preferred.

Ability to work well with others. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Excellent communication skills with effective and professional customer service skills.
