This role is responsible for the P&L and Strategy for Etch & Clean products in Specialty Gas Business Field of Semiconductor Material Business Unit. As the Global Business Marketing Manager, Clean & Etch platform, the incumbent will develop & execute on product strategies, deliver on annual financial targets, and provide overall leadership for commercial and operational activities.
This position reports directly to the Global Business Marketing Director, Clean & Etch platform.
+ Responsible for developing & executing on product strategies as well as marketing plans that drive best-in-class performance
+ Accountable to deliver upon product profitability and performance targets
+ Accountable for setting product pricing
+ Responsible for financial (budget) setting on Quarterly and Annual basis
+ Responsible for new investment project analysis and initiation
+ Develop long-term product market/competitor analysis
+ Define product requirements and coordinate with internal Functions to execute plans
+ Collaborate with R&D to develop new product offering introductions
+ Primary point of contact to Fulfillment functions (Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sourcing) and key stakeholder in S&OP planning process
+ Main business contact for Sales, Technology and Finance
+ Lead Product (sourcing) strategy for Buy & Resell sourcing activities.
+ Develop product strategy with a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and implications to your product portfolio
+ Manage product profitability through the life cycle, including pricing policy / discipline, and customer mix
+ Pricing decision for bidding new business, and price increase plan development, communication and implementation
+ Competitor intelligence: Evaluate competitive market and set pricing guideline on individual products to meet revenue/profit goals, and to achieve target market share
+ Accountable for business forecast and 6-Quarter rolling financial forecast. Joint accountability with sales to grow top line revenue and accountable for profitability in accordance with budget commitments
+ Develop strong, analytically derived market / product plans and offering roadmaps
+ Align with Operations, Quality and Sales on improvement initiatives and customer complaints resolution.
+ Responsible to work with global sourcing team to negotiate with suppliers for cost / supply improvement plans for Buy & Resell products
+ Develop new offerings through close collaborations with strategic customers and OEM develo pment partners.
+ Manage the pipeline of new offerings and shepherd them through the divisions offering development process
+ Initiate and verify new investment opportunity based on market needs
+ Align with Operations and Engineering on new Capacity investments and productivity efforts
+ Develop marketing and communication plans for offerings, including training and support.
Who You Are:
+ BS's Degree in Engineering required
+ MBA or other advanced degree in a technical discipline preferred.
+ Strong English language (written and oral) skills for effective communication across countries
+ >3 years of product, sales, and/or marketing assignments. Experience within semi-conductor and/or display industry preferred
+ A willingness and ability to travel
+ The candidate must have strong interpersonal, cross-functional leadership, and analytical communication skills with proactive mindset and be able to lead the efforts of groups outside the incumbent's immediate control. The ability to gain support, influence and obtain cooperation is critical to success
