Inspire Brands Sr. Analyst, Demand & Loyalty Fund Planning in Canton, Massachusetts

Enable Dunkin’ to achieve financial objectives by performing financial analyses to drive sales and improve franchisee profitability. Drive strategic and tactical analyses of brand, region, restaurant, and product level data. Participate in the development of significant strategic initiatives that have a financial impact on business units. Support various groups within the organization including, but not limited to, Marketing, Strategic Supply, Operations, Digital, and Commercialization. Duties and Responsibilities

Product Forecasting:

  • Using data-driven analytics, collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and external partners to create demand plan models and product-level forecasts for market tests and national product launches

  • Present forecasts and gain consensus from key stakeholders

  • Create scenarios plans to provide top-line visibility for program risks; make recommendations to mitigate risks and present to appropriate stakeholders

  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Supply Chain, and external partners to provide real time sales analysis during product launches to help manage supply and demand

  • Collaborate with franchisees and internal stakeholders on strategic and high-risk Demand Plans

  • Develop and maintain forecasting tools that help to improve visibility of products sales and shipments

Loyalty Program Fund Management/Forecasting:

  • Manage the earn / burn of loyalty points generated by the Dunkin’ loyalty program to detailed DMA/store level

  • Develop forecast process for points fund by working with marketing digital team, digital analytics, digital tech, etc. to ensure program success and growth

  • Maintain reimbursement categories with updated food cost and fair blended rates to manage fund cash flow

  • Manage food cost model and menu management requirements for product costing and bill of materials with commodity cost changes/pricing to drive understanding of product menu profitability

Strategic Analysis:

  • Analyze and evaluate current business trends and external factors to improve forecast assumptions and create more accurate forecasts

  • Analyze success of each demand plan post promotion to establish key learning and best practices

  • Make recommendations for moving from market test phase to launch based on data analyses and loyalty reimbursement category mix to improve program and align more with loyalty member trends

  • Issue regular and ad hoc reports to support Innovation, Brand Marketing, and Digital Marketing Teams

  • Make recommendations to support teams on case pack sizes, based on restaurant-level profitability, expected sales, food profitability opportunities, points fund availability for key marketing window, and waste estimation(s)

Cross Functional Team Member:

  • Provide financial representation for brand specific category management and initiatives, including but not limited to, Quarterly Planning Meetings, Field Marketing sessions, Alpha/Beta/Market Test Meetings, Loyalty and Forecasting Sub-Committee

  • Daily Ad Hoc analyses

Education Qualifications

  • 4 Year / Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance or Accounting required with an MBA preferred

Experience Qualification

  • 4 - 5 years of experience in finance/supply chain/marketing analysis/demand planning

  • Retail or QSR industry is a plus

Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

  • Strong communication skills; including presenting to cross functional teams, executive level stakeholders, and franchisees

  • Ability to effectively multi-task projects with competing priorities and work under tight deadlines

  • Experience working with large data sets and creating financial models

  • The ability to effectively mine data and draw relevant results on business performance

  • Self-starter with strong business acumen and ability to anticipate issues and think through creative solutions

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Power Point and Excel
