Job Summary
This role is a hybrid role with frequent remote work.
The Product Manager will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for defining key components of the assigned product utilizing deep industry expertise and knowledge of the assigned area and the end customer. The Product Manager will be responsible for providing the assigned product vision and roadmap that enables the Team to build and deliver the highest value product features quickly and accurately. You will be expected to collaborate closely with the Sr. Product Manager and Commercial Markets Sales colleagues, business stakeholders, and business owners to ensure a successful implementation and that the product exceeds all client expectations. The Product Manager requires both customer and business-oriented knowledge and communication skills. You will report to the Vice President of Specialty Products. You will work closely with a diverse team of talented and passionate teammates to ensure that products are aligned to the organization’s vision and goals. This role affords you the opportunity to expand your skills by working alongside talented and passionate teammates from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing
Understanding of key assigned functions – with an initial focus on large group Dental and Vision products
Identify, document, and refine requirements from business problems
Thrives in a team environment to drive decision making
Makes priority decisions for product based on measurable business and operational value
Ability to prioritize task completion based on the objectives of the department
Forecast product/feature delivery timeframes in collaboration with your team
Proficiency in coordinating projects from planning, through implementation, to execution
Works with the Sr. Product Manager to implement, evaluate and enhance the product roadmap
Documents business processes and produces process design workflows as needed
Conducts User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as appropriate
Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications – what you need to perform the job
Education
Required (minimum): Bachelors’ Degree in Business or Health Administration
Preferred: Master’s degree
Experience
Required (minimum): 5-7 years in the Health, Dental or Vision Insurance industry
Preferred: 5-7 years of Proven multiple project management experience. Experience working as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Product Analyst

Working Conditions and Additional Requirements
Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.
Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.
May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.
