Essential Functions of this role:
Packaging Technicians start a REISER career with a training program at our headquarters in Canton, MA and are welcomed into the shop. As a customer-focused technical product expert, the technicians are expected to assemble and disassemble complex pieces of highly automated machinery to high standards. Technicians will gain significant experience with many different technologies and applications in the shop.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Mechanical and electrical set up, service, troubleshooting and repair of custom industrial food packaging machinery
Assembling and disassembling complex pieces of highly automated machinery
Working with senior technicians on preparing the proper materials and parts needed to complete customer orders
Working directly with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical controls
Working with AC/DC motors, high voltage (230/460)
Hands on workplace experience with mechanical and electrical repairs
Familiarity with common hand tools, electrical tools, and basic skills in Microsoft office
Strong working knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics
Comfortable working and dealing with physical requirements of role
