responsibilities:

• Develops and validates new analytical test methods.

• Generates and revise Standard Operating Procedures, protocols and technical reports for analytical methods and QC equipment.

• Performs routine analytical testing of in-process and finished products to meet release timelines.

• Monitors and tracks test results.

• Reviews work done within department for accuracy, completeness and conformance to specifications.

• Works with training department to ensure personnel are properly trained on test methods and on standard operating procedures.

• Provides validation test support.

• Investigates and resolves nonconforming test results.

• Ensures lab materials are sufficient and equipment is maintained to meet department needs.

• Keeps Manager informed of all relevant events impacting the operations and performance of the department.

• Maintains knowledge of cGMP's and GLP's.

• Maintains knowledge of current compendia methods.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science (Masters strongly preferred) with 3-5 years progressive pharmaceutical lab experience required.

• Equivalent combined of education and experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, related industrial or clinical experience accepted.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
