Job Summary

The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will spearhead the transformation of FP&A at Point32Health. This visionary leader will serve as the integral architect of the continued evolution of the FP&A team; role will be responsible for crafting robust financial processes and building strategic partnerships across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing

  • Develop, implement, and manage quarterly forecast process for the enterprise.

  • Develop, implement, and manage annual budget process for the enterprise.

  • Manage production and materials for Executive leadership updates: including Town Halls, Board analysis and Finance Committee

  • Continue to improve effectiveness and efficiency of all FP&A processes including Monthly Close, Monthly Operating Review, Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Establish FP&A as the single source of truth for Financial and Membership reporting

  • Standardized reporting and methodologies across the enterprise.

  • Foster a collaborative environment within BPPM and build seamless partnerships with all business units to gain deep insights and drive strategic alignment

  • Develop and implement robust data analytics capabilities to extract actionable insights and support data driven decision-making; examples include Expense analysis, improved clarity on LOB and Enterprise performance vs Market and Competitors, alignment of operational to financial plan, scenario analysis.

  • Management of the Corporate calendar to ensure leadership (SVP of BPPM and VP of Corporate FP&A) are prepared.

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of FP&A professionals, fostering their development and ensuring exceptional service delivery

Qualifications – what you need to perform the job

Education, Certification and Licensure

  • BA/BS degree required.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Experience (minimum years required) :

  • 10-15 years' related business experience with Finance background required.

  • Experience of managing FP&A functions and deliverables in medium-large organizations

Skill Requirements

  • Project management and organizational skills

  • Analytical Skills: ability to synthesize and organize information for meaningful use and action

  • Knowledge of budgeting process

  • Proven oral and written communication skills

  • Strong relationship building and leadership skills

  • Ability to develop, motivate, and provide direction to staff

  • Understanding of technology related to Poin32Health systems

  • Knowledge of financial systems and modelling tools

  • Strategic thinking skills: ability to draw meaningful insights and identify business implications

  • Individual must exhibit desire for further career growth

Working Conditions and Additional Requirements (include special requirements, e.g., lifting, travel) :

  • Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.

  • Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.

  • May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.
