3 years of related experience in law and policy, research, web content, publishing or other related field. Education may count toward experience.

We are looking for people who have:
Relevant technical expertise in web frontend maintenance, troubleshooting, and development.
Experience in HTML/CSS and PHP in a WordPress context, as well as general web administration (Google Analytics, FTP); MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, InDesign) preferred.
Comfort with learning and mastering new applications and technology issues, and ability to discuss these issues with both technical and non-technical staff.
Effective writing, editing, proofreading; attention to detail.
Experience with research a plus.
Interest in corporate law, finance, or public policy is useful.
This is a term appointment currently expected to extend through 06/30/2023, subject to funding and departmental need.

As a Web Content Associate you will participate in the following activities:
Daily publication of the Program's online Forum, including preparing and editing posts for publication, coordinating with editors, organizing workflow, and corresponding with contributors.
Acting as front-end web coordinator for the Program's online Forum and websites, including updating content, resolving technical issues, and designing and creating new elements and pages as needed.
Publicizing organizational activities by preparing and publishing electronic announcements and newsletters, posting to social media, managing relational databases of contacts, updating subscriber lists, and gathering press mentions.
Contributing to research projects conducted by the Program.
Providing IT/tech and frontline support to the Faculty Director and to other Program personnel.
Assisting with Program administrative tasks, including but not limited to research tasks and events organized by the Program.

The Program on Corporate Governance at Harvard Law School (the “Program”) seeks to foster research and scholarship about corporate governance and facilitate discourse in this field among academics, practitioners, and policy-makers. The Program has an entry-level opportunity for a Web Content Associate whose primary responsibility will be the daily publication of the Program's online Forum and who will be acting as front-end web-coordinator for the Program's online Forum and websites, under the supervision of the Faculty Director, Associate Director, and the Publications and Research Director. This position is well suited for candidates who are considering subsequently applying to graduate school in law or public policy.
