UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM MANAGER, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), to manage a wide range of existing initiatives, including departmental events, student organizations, exchange programs, orientation sessions, etc. Will evaluate, develop strategy, and improve initiatives as appropriate; evaluate existing office processes to determine opportunities for automation and manage technical staff to execute those projects; work closely with undergraduate administrators and the undergraduate officer to improve EECS’s academic advising; and manage the day-to-day operations of the office, assisting the undergraduate administrators as needed. This may include advising and counseling students, helping with course registration and degree clearance, aiding with student visa issues, etc.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree (master's preferred); at least three years of counseling experience and/or academic advising experience; experience in higher education; excellent organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to work effectively with others at all levels, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrate initiative and flexibility, work independently and as part of a team; attention to detail; and experience using complex databases, word processing software, and content management systems.
