IQVIA Sr. Manager/Manager, Innovation (Remote) in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Job Overview:

The Innovation Manager will be responsible for the development of new solution capabilities related to IQVIA’s Master Data Management and Gross-to-Net platforms . They will be responsible for leading the development of methodology, identification of data asset requirements and analytics/reporting of proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the success of the developed methodology. This team member will be at the intersection business intelligence design, technical implementation and strategy development and must be able to communicate at both the technical and executive level.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain a clear understanding of the value-proposition of each new solution capability

  • Design and perform proof-of-concepts by developing initial methodologies and collaborating with various practices and team members to collect all relevant sample datasets needed

  • Perform investigations on results to anticipate stakeholder questions and concerns on POC results

  • Develop executive-facing presentations of results to clearly demonstrate the value-proposition to key client decision makers

  • Build product develop roadmaps with recommendations on how to achieve an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and progress to best-practices

  • Guide product development teams on methodology to be scaled in a production environment

  • Continually assess opportunities, “complexity vs. value” trade-offs, potential risks and corresponding risk mitigation steps

  • Articulate the business case for his/her methodology recommendations

  • Clearly document methodologies so they can be explained to clients, team members and senior IQVIA leadership

  • Support business development content creation and client meetings as a SME (subject matter expect) on his/her solution workstreams

  • Participate / facilitate brainstorming workshops and solution improvement ideation sessions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • MBA Degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in healthcare analytics required

  • Interest in 340B policy and 340B supply-chain operations

  • Strategic mindset on gross-to-net optimization concepts

  • Strong understanding of the business needs of various functional departments of our clients (Market Access, Contracting, Sales, Finance, Leadership, etc.)

  • Experience with pharmaceutical prescription and medical data (preferred)

  • Significant expertise in custom SQL coding and strategic relational database design

  • Significant expertise in Excel-based analytics

  • Proficiency in visualization tools such as Think Cell and Tableau

  • Ability to visualize both results and conceptual processes into executive-facing presentations

  • Strong math / quantitative skills to be able develop and implement highly conditional logic and code using multiple datasets that integrates into existing upstream and downstream processes

  • Critical thinker – Willing and eager to investigate results and test hypotheses that they or other team members have developed

  • Proven track record of effective and successful project management skills

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills to support leadership in communicating the value-proposition of the new solution capabilities to internal and external stakeholders
