SOFTWARE ENGINEER, Jameel Clinic for Machine Learning in Health (J-Clinic), to play a key role in developing an open-source community to harness contributions from the broad AI and medical IT community to translate AI advances from the J-Clinic into clinical care. Will develop integrations to ingest data from hospital systems and efficiently deploy AI tools. Will help establish contributor guidelines and tutorials to facilitate participation from external developers, prioritizing responsiveness to contributor issues and pull requests, moderating discussions, and reviewing and incorporating contributions from the community. Given J-Clinic’s extensive expertise in translation, it hopes to develop a shared platform to aid other AI researchers who wish to integrate their tools into clinic.
