The Air Force and Missile Defense Strategic Systems program area at Draper is seeking a seasoned Program Manager (PM) to work closely with our program staff as we increase our contributions to the warfighter and supporting program offices. We are seeking Program Managers who excel in fast-paced, dynamic work environments. This position will operate as an integral member of the mission area team and also work across the breadth of the Draper enterprise to ensure adequate coordination and collaboration across laboratory functions.
Responsibilities of this position include:
Drive execution, innovation, and provide oversight that ensures Sponsor satisfaction, on-time delivery of product and contractual deliverables
Manage, strengthen, and grow Warfighter and Sponsor relationships and support capture activities to include leading proposal efforts as required.
Project execution to include leading a team of diverse skillsets, driving requirements, on-time delivery and budget management
The required qualifications of this position include:
Engineering, science, business or similar degree
Experience with Air Force and Missile Defense warfighters, program offices and/or supporting S&T organizations
15+ years professional experience in a high paced organization in one or more of the following domains: strategic and long range offensive or defensive weapons, NC3 and/or C2BMC (including supporting algorithms), assured communications, trusted microelectronics and MEMS devices, non-kinetic warfare capabilities, conventional and nuclear weapon component/subsystem development and sustainment, highly reliable systems and components.
Experience in program/project management of technology development and fielding activities and integrating new technology into existing, fielded systems
Program/project management in complex technical activities
Agile leadership skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed in order to meet need dates
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
Security Requirement:
Active secret clearance required, Top Secret clearance desired.
