Senior Global Product Risk Manager

The Senior Global Product Risk Manager develops and maintains the Philips global risk management process and provides guidance to the businesses they support for process deployment.

Your role:

  • Ensures the product safety risk management process for the products, systems and services designed and manufactured by or for Philips meet the applicable regulations and standards.

  • Ensures that the product safety risk management process is effective and efficient while meeting the needs of the overall Philips enterprise.

  • Monitors the overall enterprise product safety risk management performance throughout the enterprise and addresses issues identified with the enterprise level process.

  • Provides support to business including development of related training materials and courses for the advancement of Product Risk Management competency throughout the enterprise.

  • Coordinates with appropriate cross-functional teams in the creation and maintenance of the Enterprise level Product Safety Risk Management process as listed above.

  • Provides support to the businesses in the implementation and execution of risk management for new product risk management and legacy product risk management remediation activities, as well as post market risk assessment activities.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of working experience with ISO 14971 and product specific regulations and standards. IEC 62304 is nice to have but not required. 5+ years working experience in a regulated industry. 5+ years working experience in product development or post-market surveillance (in medical device for medical businesses). 5+ years working experience in creating risk management deliverables. Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Your skills include ability to lead a cross-functional team within a business, following standard processes, to help develop and execute processes which improve patient safety in our products. Knowledgeable about Product Development and Life Cycle Management, with a strong background in FMEAs. Knowledgeable about Complaints and Post-Market Surveillance connections with Product Safety Risk Management. Experience performing risk assessments and health hazard evaluations in a medical device setting strongly preferred.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.

  • You’re an strong communicator with an ability to lead without expressed authority. Comfortable traveling up to 25% (domestic and international) as required by business needs.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $104,300 to $200,256, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
