KSQ Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Principal Scientist/Associate Director, Pharmacology to apply their experience in drug discovery towards the discovery of the next generation of impactful therapies. This person will contribute to in vivo pharmacology strategy to support the advancement of our pre-clinical Oncology and Immuno-Oncology small and large molecule pipeline. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and technical leadership across oncology and immune-oncology pre-clinical drug projects and initiatives

  • Manage both internal and external resources to deliver high quality data

  • Work collaboratively within department and across departments to effectively achieve project goals and timelines

Requirements

Key Qualifications

  • Ph.D. with postdoctoral fellowship and 7+ years of experience in Pharmacology in an industry setting or MSc with 10+ years of experience

  • Demonstrated experience in independent organization and execution of in vivo studies to evaluate tolerability, efficacy and mechanism of action of therapeutic agents

  • Experience in a wide variety of oncology and immune-oncology in vivo models including syngeneic, orthotopic, PDX and humanized systems

  • Understanding of PK/PD/Efficacy relationship

  • Experience managing the development and execution of ex vivo assays to investigate MOA and biomarker strategies such as qPCR, IHC and FACs

  • Experience coordinating and managing CRO activities and external collaborations

  • Ability to define in vivo strategy and think critically and creatively as part of a fast-paced research team

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for participating across functional groups and externally
