Oracle Messaging Content Strategist- Strategic Messaging Services, Austin, TX in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

*Messaging Content Strategists *work in a highly collaborative partnership with Creative Leads, Messaging Strategists, and internal sales teams, stewarding our messages through a human-centric voice. Your writing is rooted in your audience's mind, comfortable translating technical jargon into a compelling human need and benefit. Your versatility allows you to go from developing a complex hierarchy of messages to crafting campaign themes to coming up with compelling headlines or devising a manifesto that can inspire a customer to think differently about Oracle. You love seeing your curiosity and craft rewarded by seeing tangible business and human impact that makes a difference.

This position is currently virtual due to COVID but will be Austin Texas Hub based once new guidelines and policies in place.

/Key Responsibilities:/

  • Collaborate, concept, contribute and lead impactful messaging frameworks, and creative themes

  • Hone and develop differentiated messages, voice, and tone that can drive customer-centric experiences during active sales cycles to reinforce the Oracle value proposition and promote engagement, understanding, and memorability

  • Be comfortable with technology positioning and marketing and adept at making it feel human, confident, and compelling

/Desired Skills/Abilities:/

  • 4-6 years of experience

  • Adept at content and creative, strategic frameworks

  • Comfortable crafting use cases, personas, and customer journeys

  • Comfortable in developing consistent voice and tone

  • UX experience and comfort with information design a plus

  • Adept at Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)

  • Love crafting compelling stories and manifestos

  • Strong client presentation, collaboration, and negotiating skills

  • Great project management skills, understands how to set expectations and personal priorities
