Manufacturing Tech (Biotech)

12+ month Contract

Location: Cambridge, MA

Pay Rate: $$20-21/hr

Day Shift 6am-6pm 12 hour shifts and alternating weekends schedule

Night Shift 6pm-6am 12 hour shifts and alternating weekends schedule

With direct supervision this Manufacturing Technician will perform routine manufacturing operations for the production of clinical and/or commercial products. The Manufacturing Technician Operates production equipment according to SOP's in their assigned areas.

Responsibilities:

The individual will carry out cGMP manufacturing operations utilizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Batch Records and Form Preps.

Primary responsibilities include:

-Execution of activities in support of production

-Perform requests and execution of GMP documentation

-Enter data in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), MODA and or other business systems

-Sample preparation and testing

• Identify changes needed to documentation

• Complete required training on time

• Carry out work in a safe manner, notifying management of safety issues and risks

• Participate in tiered visual management system

• Recognize issues and escalate to senior staff

• Perform scheduled cleaning of equipment

• Perform standardization of equipment

• Support change over activities

• Assist in the assembly and disassembly of process equipment

• Maintain training requirements

• Develop and maintain personal development plan

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Skills:

Understanding of cGMP manufacturing operations

Familiarization with following SOP's, Batch Recrods and Form Preps

Education:

High School

Qualifications:

2+ years Manufacturing Experience (BioTech)

High School Diploma or Equivalent
