Manager, Analytics – Neurology

DESCRIPTION:

The Manager, Analytics – Neurology will be the analytics lead for US Neurology, responsible for the reporting and presenting of performance and integrated insights to leadership. This individual will be an integral partner to the US Neurology leadership team, supporting both in-line products and preparing for future product launches. This individual will be responsible for proactively identifying areas of opportunity through use of claims, SP, and CRM data.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Act as strategic partner to Neurology leadership team in key activities, such as brand planning, performance reviews and assessment of new initiatives

  • Partner with brand team to develop and measure KPIs associated with brand strategy and tactics

  • Lead development and maintenance of KPI reports for the commercial team, covering Marketing, Sales, and PSS functions

  • Present monthly brand performance to Neurology leadership , bringing forth integrated insights from various data sources

  • Support optimization of promotional spend through leadership of marketing mix analyses

  • Support future product launches through leadership of behavioral segmentation and targeting

  • Perform ad-hoc national and sub-national analyses to proactively identify areas of opportunities and threats, leveraging marketing tactic utilization, sales execution, and customer adoption metrics

  • Liaise with external vendors in the production of Sales Force Effectiveness reports

  • Create dashboards to synthesize information and enable business decisions

  • Coordinate with data management to ensure insights are based on reliable, high quality information

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline

  • Minimum of 3+ years of Pharmaceutical, Commercial Analytics/Forecasting, Sales Operations, or Consulting experience

  • Proficiency of programming languages (e.g., SQL, SAS, Python, R, VBA)

  • Experience using analytical platforms (e.g., SAS Studio, SQL developers, Databricks, Jupyter Notebook, etc.)

  • Experience with pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo)

  • Experience working with SP data files (e.g., Capgemini)

  • Experience working with CRM data systems (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce)

  • Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Tableau)

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Strong strategic awareness and business acumen

  • Strong proven leadership, communication, and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment with many cross-functional partners

  • Self-starter, proactive in nature, and actively participates

  • Ability to understand and influence decisions

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree or MBA preferred

  • Experience in Neurology or Specialty Care
