Innovation Account Manager (Cambridge, MA)
The Innovation Account Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing success of innovative programs that Philips conducts in collaboration with clinical partners in North America.
Acting as the single point of contact, manage business critical Customer Partnerships (2-3), each encompassing one or more Innovation Programs, which can be catalogued according to a specific Engagement Archetype and include co-development (public-private partnerships, R&D) and application in partnership (innovation of care pathways, innovation on top of standard platforms).
Establish and implement an account plan and strategy together with external and internal stakeholders, achieving a targeted Innovation NPS. Map the account plan and strategy to Engagement Archetypes defined by the Innovation Partnership Leader and the Clinical Capabilities team.
Ensure operational excellence in program management, end-to-end tracking, and timely completion of Innovation Program deliverables according to budget. Conduct program management in a consistent manner according to a Harmonized Program Management Framework defined by the Innovation Partnership Leader and the Clinical Capabilities team. Monitor, track and report out on program status via a Partnership/Program dashboard.
Help to ensure alignment across Businesses, Functions and customers to enable success in co-creation, while also ensuring that the Businesses remain empowered and accountable for Innovation Programs at those sites. Important stakeholders include but are not limited to the Clinical Capabilities team, Commercial Account Managers, Business Leaders, Business R&D leaders, customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and Clinical Affairs (when Evidence Generation is relevant)
Develop and drive productive long-term relationships with cross-functional stakeholders within Philips BUs and the customer at various levels across clinical and non-clinical departments
Negotiate contractual agreements with each account, coordinate and drive account, helping to renew, transfer or convert to a commercial engagement as appropriate.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired7+ years business experience, preferably in business-development, account management and/or program management/process improvement experience.
Your skills include experience managing large programs within a complex matrixed organization and the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives through influence.
You have a Master’s level (MA, MSc, MBA) or PhD preferred in relevant area.
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to comfortably lead meetings with mid/senior-level management. Desired business understanding of the health care industry and health plan economics, including value-based agreements.
