Head of Strategy & BD, Radiology Informatics

As a strategic leader on our Radiology Informatics team, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of our Radiology Informatics business, ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation and market leadership. You will work closely with business leadership to shape our long-term vision and strategic initiatives to accelerate execution towards it, enabling Philips to deliver differentiated, sustainable value to our customers and stakeholders.

Your role:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to scale the Radiology Informatics business, both through organic and inorganic levers to create sustainable growth and impact.

  • Identify key market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats to inform strategic decisions, tradeoffs, and value chain shifts, and initiatives.

  • Identify and evaluate potential business development opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions, to drive disproportionate growth.

  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and go-to-market prioritization.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to business leadership based on market intelligence and data-driven analysis of industry activities.

  • Collaborate with product management, R&D, marketing, and sales teams to ensure strategic initiatives are effectively executed with quality and speed.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the business leader and business leadership team, contributing to high-level decision-making and long-term planning.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 10+ years of experience in strategy development and business execution, with at least 5 years in healthcare technology or medical imaging. Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives reflected in impact to both top line and bottom line and driving scale to global business.

  • Your skills include strong writing experience, excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong bias for action to navigate ambiguity, deep ownership to drive impact within and beyond scope of responsibility, and ability to earn trust externally/internally.

  • You have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with background in strategy development, preferred. Doctorate in technical healthcare field, with background in healthcare Informatics, or a related field, nice to have.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

  • You also have the ability to build trust and manage relationships with the C-level leadership and other key influencers across ecosystem and have a familiarity with overall software value chain, cloud SaaS models, and business transformation.
