Job Title: Electrical Mechanical Technician

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Production Technician is to assemble and test systems and related products in our manufacturing facility following released engineering drawings and assembly instructions. Key duties include mechanical assembly of subassemblies using small hand and/or power tools, final assembly of systems and accessories, and testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies. The technician will collaborate with other Production Technicians and Engineering to correct and improve documentation related to the assembly process, and work on new product development efforts where documentation and assembly instructions are not yet finalized. The role involves working with manufacturing engineers to enhance assembly efficiency, product quality, and reduce manufacturing costs. The technician is also responsible for ensuring that work order protocols are followed and that work order paperwork is completed as the work is performed. Additional responsibilities may include training other technicians, conducting in-process quality checks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and working on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Other duties as assigned.
