About the role:
As Digital Project Manager for the Technology and Innovation group within ConvaTec, you will take a lead role in building our exciting new capabilities and software solutions across our therapy areas. As ConvaTec continues to build and focus in this area, you will be a key component in leading large, cross-functional projects to successful completions, as well as reporting on progress and building a clear program approach. This is an exciting role for a self-starter with experience in the space to really build and lead a clear path forward on this exciting journey.
Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Project manage key Digital and software projects within the Technology and Innovation organization, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved
Provide clear direction for internal project teams, as well as working with key external stakeholders and partners
Partner with key internal stakeholders to establish the role as a key team player within the digital network within ConvaTec
Develop and maintain key project documents including charters, RACIs, Gantt Charts, Budget Trackers, RAID logs, etc.
Estimate and manage project resource and budgets
Provide oversight and reporting of digital project progress, risk, and budget to a steering committeeContribute to improving the internal processes to allow for more efficient digital developments of the future
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or related discipline
PRINCE2 (or equivalent) project management certification/qualification required
Experience as a program manager for software in the healthcare domain, with experience leading SaMD (Software as a Medical Device) projects a plus
Experience with cloud-based solutions and the Internet of Things (IoT), as well as knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) development
Proven experience to form effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
Experience managing multiple external software vendors
Experience reporting on large projects and/or programs
Agile project management methodologies and practices
Use of JIRA, Confluence, Slack and similar tools
Excellent organizational skills
Understanding of Medical Device standards and regulations
