In this role, you will work with the assigned marketing and business leaders to deploy Philips Commercial Policy (CP) and ensure that pricing strategies and process are tightly aligned to the markets’ growth strategies.
The role reports into the North America Commercial Pricing Policy (CP) Leader.
You work closely with the marketing and sales leadership teams within the market and global central with Health Systems Business Development and Performance Management teams.
CP Director acts as the orchestrator, business partner and linking pin between local North America marketing, sales and business leadership and the global Business Unit pricing officer teams in what is defined as the Business Market Combination (BMC). Together this team analyses pricing data and trends to drive price performance improvements.
Deploy the latest Commercial Policy into the North America market with a focus on the following care settings: Acute Care, Respiratory, Emergency Pre-Hospital & Informatics
Internally defined by product portfolio as Hospital Patient Monitoring, Hospital Respiratory Care, Emergency Care, Connected Care Informatics & Value-Added Services.
Phase 1 Value Creation: Implementing CP framework in portfolio noted
Orchestrate the stakeholders, project plan, timeline, training
Drive culture change moving from cost plus to value-based pricing and pay for performance
Phase 2 Value Extraction: Partnering across stakeholders to maximize price
Coach business, marketing & sales leaders, share the best practices, design and execute programs to build world-class pricing capability
Leverage Price Realization dashboards to bring meaningful insights and business influencing strategies
Act as a role model for compliance and Philips behaviors
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Strong commercial understanding (> 10 years’ experience) and ‘can do’ mentality to solve complex problems
Ability to work both on a strategic level as well as an operational level in a virtual team with a wide array of stakeholders (cross-functional, cross-layer)
Strong conceptual and analytical skills, hands-on approach
Intercultural fluency, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking.
Proven leadership skills in a highly dynamic matrix organization
Project management skills
Previous exposure to B2B business. Experience in health systems is a plus
