CTG's premier client in Cambridge, MA, has a long term assignment for a Business Planning Infrastructure and Capabilities Analyst.

Major responsibilities of this position are:

  • Prepare financial budget to actual results for planning, expertise area or management board meetings and collaborate with operational program teams to develop content accordingly

  • Primary responsibilities include business partnering support of Strategic Capabilities & IT as well as Facilities & CapEx

  • Partner with functional teams to forecast investments and manage variance to plan on quarterly and annual planning cycles

  • Work closely with regional Business Planning leads to ensure proper budgeting and reporting of spend across regions in a global, commercial environment

  • Partner closely with IT, Accounting, Procurement and other groups across the organization to ensure efficient business processes and proper reporting

  • Help drive financial education, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the organization including PO funding

  • Analyze data to explain trends and variances from budget and forecast to upper management

  • Assist with special projects, system implementation and enhancement as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance field

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience

  • Information technology project management, accounting and finance

  • Able to think strategically, formulating actionable financial analyses and seeing them through

  • Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry in a commercial company preferred

  • Understanding and compliance with applicable Sarbanes Oxley requirements

  • Highly proficient in MS Excel; experience with SAP preferred, experience with Adaptive Planning System a plus

  • Strong work ethic and team player

  • Able to handle multiple assignments and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines

  • High degree of professionalism

  • Ability to work sensitively with confidential material

  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills

  • Comfortable communicating with various levels of management

  • Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

This position pays on a W2 hourly basis (no C2C or 1099's).
