Aerotek Boiler Operator in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Pharmaceutical client in Cambridge, MA is looking to hire a Boiler Operator to join their team!
-Oversee & monitor the site Utility plant systems and make adjustments and/or repairs as necessary.
-Maintenance and repairs of systems includes, but is not limited to; boilers, water testing, heat exchangers, RO & soft water systems, chilled water systems, hot water heaters, pumps, valves, single and three phase motors, air compressors, bearings, seals, filters and all associated equipment.
-Position requires individual to be available to work different shifts as needed to maintain site utility requirements.
-Position requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the root cause of failures and take corrective action as required.
-Performs preventive maintenance on all site equipment.
-Maintain tools, order and track inventory for repairs. Maintain logs, document equipment repairs, adhere to daily work plan, track time, and communicate daily with the Facilities Manager.
-Complies with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
-Maintains a clean and safe work space.
-Must have the ability to interact and communicate repair status to clients.
-Work across trades to provide support as required.
-May be required to work Overtime as needed and/or Flex schedule to meet business needs.
-Individual may be the sole operator on a shift.

12 hour shift rotating between days and nights
-Stationary steam engineer license preferred
-2nd class fireman license
