Overview:

Oncorus is seeking an innovative Associate Director, Investor Relations to provide tactical and leadership to the Oncorus investor relations efforts working directly with the CFO as well as the CEO. The ideal candidate demonstrates strength in communication and team leadership in a role that is broadly engaged across the organization. In this position you will bring a strong understanding of corporate policies and securities regulations to ensure best practices for being a public company. You will guide the investor relations department through critical activities related to being a public company.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and lead the development of materials and coordination of logistics for investor meetings, conferences, road shows, analyst days, one-on-one meetings, quarterly and annual earnings reporting.

  • Contribute to the maintenance of investor-facing materials, including financial results press releases, investor presentations, conference call scripts, and Q&As.

  • Assist with preparation of responses to questions and requests for information from investors and analysts.

  • Gather and analyze relevant data such as consensus estimates, stock price targets, competitor trends, peers estimates and other financial information.

  • Continual refinement of messaging and market positioning based on company performance, market perception, expectations, peer performance and relative valuation.

  • Design and manage Wall Street special events to provide in-depth understanding of client programs including analyst days, and financial community receptions at medical meetings.

  • Develop and maintain investor databases and quantitative financial performance tracking methods.

  • Collaborate with finance and legal colleagues to ensure disclosure requirements are met and appropriate filings are executed.

  • Lead proactive investor outreach programs that will result in broad visibility of progress within the financial community.

  • Cultivate new client relationships with the healthcare buyside, sell side and investor community.

  • Manage and direct external firms and consultants to deliver high-quality work at the expected cost.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required advanced degree preferred.

  • 2-5 years relevant financial experience in investment banking, equity research, investor relations, consulting, corporate finance, or related fields; public company experience required.

  • A genuine interest for finance and the equity markets.

  • A proactive, strategic approach to investor relations and communications.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; highly proficient in Excel

  • Working knowledge of IR software (Bloomberg, Nasdaq IR Insight, Ipreo, Factset) preferred.

  • Possesses an attention to detail and time-sensitivities in a fast-paced working environment.

  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with executives and senior leaders; able to work collaboratively across functions.

  • Willing to be an individual contributor and a team player; is self-motivated and resourceful.

  • Must always be able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.

  • Knowledge of SEC and disclosure requirements.
