Additional Qualifications and Skills:
Masters' or other advanced degree in business or related field preferred; HBS MBA highly preferred
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong understanding of the entrepreneurial climate, participating players and entrepreneurial topics and jargon.
Passion for and experience in the field of entrepreneurship, preferably with experience in launching, running or financing high-impact entrepreneurial ventures.
Self-motivated and creative, with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
Comfort with building collaborative relationships across HBS and the University, as well as with members of the business and venture capital communities.
Familiarity with management and operations within an academic environment a plus.
A team player who is willing to take initiative/ownership of projects.

The position reports to the Director. The major areas of responsibility include:
Manage the execution of the Alumni New Venture Competition including working with the Alumni Clubs team to communicate program logistics and support clubs in their competitions. Participate in all NVC Finale planning meetings and tasks to support successful execution of the NVC Finale.
Project management of Rock 100 Summit, Roundtables, and peer exchange groups including managing event planning and logistics, research and development of the invitation list, faculty engagement, pre- and post-event outreach and communications with alumni, and tracking program metrics. Also, includes interviewing new Rock 100 participants.
Development of programs to support underrepresented founders and investors.
Collaborate with Young Alumni group to provide entrepreneurial content for young alumni gatherings.
Collaborate with Alumni Relations in their new Life Long Learning Initiative by identifying core Rock content and resources to support alumni interested in entrepreneurship.
Manage and execute the Entrepreneur-in-Residence program including EiR orientation, evaluation and feedback. Coordinate faculty meet-and-greets with EiRs, EiR Kickoff dinner, and end-of-year dinner.
Liaison between new Harvard iLab Alumni director. Coordinate joint programming between the ilab alumni and HBS alumni entrepreneurs where feasible.
Manage the Lawyers in Residence, Venture Capital Partner, Alumni Advisor program to provide ample opportunity for students to connect with key industry and subject matter experts.
Develop Rock Center Global Insights report on HBS entrepreneurship around the world, including measurement of key metrics and trends. Identify key alumni global entrepreneurship stakeholders and areas of opportunity for HBS.
Enhance and helps maintain the Rock database with alumni and company information, including importing and exporting data, updating records, running reports, and coordinating with other offices to maintain data integrity. Updates lists of entrepreneurship-related publications, curriculum elements, etc.
Provide reporting to ratings agencies as needed and with administration approval.
Take on specific projects based on the needs of the Rock Center and takes responsibility for all aspects, in coordination with the director and faculty co-chairs.
Work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic work environment of multiple and conflicting priorities. Anticipates and resolves problems and updates supervisor on status of projects.

Through programming, communication, events, and activities, the Associate Director will build on the Rock Center’s role as a source for relevant and innovative information about entrepreneurship. The Associate Director reports to the Director. They will work closely with the Director and HBS faculty to manage the strategic vision, implementation, and delivery of core MBA-student facing programs and activities.
