Microsoft Corporation Area Win Room Sales Ops PM Lead in Cambridge, Massachusetts

US AWR Operations Lead: Is focused on investment operations at the Area level. Deliver strategic and agile investing through the USAWR (US Area Win Room) investment operation’s programs and planning. The operations lead understands and maintains the operational rigor and reporting for the US AWR team including compliance with Microsoft Policy. Diagnosing and working to resolve underlying issues to ensure continuous improvement and that all SLA’s are met. The focus is driving the right set of investments, ROI (Return On Investment), and time to market while reducing complexity and time requirements for US field sellers and customer facing teams.

Win the Customer : Close partnership with Finance on fiscal year Variable spend prioritization meets leadership expectations and field sales needs. Oversee the US AWR program management of the “Easy Button” processes and recommendations for ROI modeling.

Investment Operations Planning

  • Manage processes for sales operations customer acquisition investments and increased consumption.

  • Collaborate with Finance to align and refine planning, reporting, and execution.

Productivity Improvement

  • Lead standardization of processes and tools across Area to enhance sales productivity.

  • Drive continuous improvements in reporting and BI (Business Intelligence).

  • Provide ongoing coaching and guidance for Empower Success program (train the trainer role).

SOPM (Sales Operations Program Manager) Team Responsibilities, Process Excellence

  • Partner with Corporate stakeholders, Segment Leads, Area Transformation Lead, Area Capability Lead, Sales Excellence teams and Finance to drive sales process enablement, insight, and execution across the United States.

  • Leverage and drive standardized reporting to improve execution in all OUs (Organizational Units) and US BGs (Business Groups).

  • Identify opportunities in conjunction with field and management partners to improve tools and processes to increase efficiency, remove blockers, reduce redundancies, reduce manual work, and/or save time within Sales Programs.

  • Synthesizes feedback and provides recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

  • Shares best practices and communicates with others across the community including other Areas and WW operational organizations.

Qualifications

Qualifications

An Experienced Program Management Professional, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of practical subsidiary Investment experience and a strong knowledge of Sales Excellence, Business Planning, Sales Operations and/or Finance.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting, Information Systems, Social Sciences or related field AND 2+ years experience in sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, consulting, finance, marketing, or a related field

  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting, Information Systems, Social Sciences or related field AND 3+ years experience in sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, consulting, finance, marketing, or a related field

  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Design, or related field.

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $83,500 and $125,000.

At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
