Google Account Manager, Financial Services in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in digital media sales, marketing, or advertising.

  • 2 years of experience selling video products and platforms (e.g., YouTube, programmatic video, Google Video Partners, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in video media management.

  • Experience presenting to stakeholders in a client management role

  • Experience in Search and/or Display media management

  • Proficiency in Google Ads UI.

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Sheets/Slides/Docs).

Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As part of this highly strategic Financial Services role, you will join a consistently top performing team in client management while creating/contributing to a strong team culture in Large Customer Sales (LCS). You will be primarily responsible for managing the YouTube portfolio of Insurance and Banking clients, while holistically assisting with Search and Display on an ad-hoc basis.

This role requires knowledge of the Google Ads UI, as you will be consulting clients on how to best leverage the YouTube platform across ad formats, measurement and application. Given our deep partnerships with our clients, your role is critical to help them achieve their core business objectives through deep industry insights, proactive strategic analysis and in-depth understanding of Google’s solutions.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Manage effectively video accounts across business-generating Insurance/Banking clients.

  • Partner with both clients and agencies to ensure they follow Google best practices in setting up and managing their YouTube accounts.

  • Contribute to the strategic vision and drive the tactical execution and excellence of video campaigns.

  • Assist with Search and Display-focused initiatives on an ad hoc basis across team portfolio.
