The Oracle Sales and Partner Academy (OSPA) delivers world-class training to our sales teams worldwide.

We seek someone who is passionate about helping leadership teams take their global organization’s performance to the next level. This role supports Oracle Sales & Partner Academy, partnering with Oracle leaders to improve, enhance, and evolve our practices to achieve business success through our people and organization strategy. This internal practice is used to ensure that OSPA training programs delivered to the global sales community are aligned and integrated into the hire to retire culture of learning and Oracle’s use of the HCM suite.

Key capabilities:

  • Providing well-honed expertise across various specialties, including organization development, talent management, career development, performance management, coaching, leadership development, learning, and similar areas

  • Collaborating with others and working independently to propose, evaluate, design, develop and implement organization and talent strategies and solutions to help the lines of business achieve current and evolving business goals. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving applying advanced technical/business skills in the specialization

  • Enhancing executive leaders and their leadership teams’ ability to grow and nurture their organization’s agility, customer excellence, and resilience

  • Transforming culture through deliberate and meaningful organization change management efforts, Understanding and conveying data using storytelling methods to communicate employee survey insights and results

  • Aligning organization and talent strategies and actions to enable business strategy and goals

  • Facilitating meaningful discussion with small and large groups, including leadership teams – in person and virtually. Delivering in-person and virtual 1:1, one-to-few, and one-to-many discussions to assess needs, test hypotheses, and conduct planning, prioritization, change management, innovation, or learning sessions

  • Crafting, launching, and iterating talent and learning programs in a constantly changing environment

  • Helping others pioneer innovative approaches, streamline processes, and simplify work to its most meaningful parts

  • Adopting and using a full suite of Oracle HCM applications to gain business insights and drive data-based decision-making

  • Uniting with all functional OSPA teams, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and Organization Talent & Development (OTD) to influence and accomplish actions in all of the above


  1. Ensure that OSPA talent strategy is correctly supported

  2. Maintenance of job code family and job descriptions

  3. Role development path that well articulates requirements for promotion

  4. Onboarding and training paths by role

  5. Leverage Oracle HCM applications for best in class experience

  6. Career pathing options into and out of OSPA

  7. Develop and manage solutions that address productivity shortfalls due to collaboration, organizational awareness, community and engagement limitations

  8. Learnings for managing and engaging with HR and OTD to support OSPA talent strategy to be used to ensure that the learning experience that OSPA is responsible for (for Oracle Sellers) incorporate findings for improvements in needs analysis, content creation, learning pathing, learning experience and impact to productivity.

  9. Designing and delivering in-person and virtual 1:1, one-to-few, and one-to-many discussions to assess needs, gain feedback, test hypotheses, and conduct dialog to support Responsibilities #1 and #2.

  10. Developing and leading individual and team interventions using MBTI, TKI, 360-degree feedback to support Responsibilities #1 and #2.

Have five or more years of related experience with the above, having been an effective organizational development consultant in some capacity before and BA/BS degree or equivalent

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.
