LeMaitre Vascular Sr. Quality Assurance Manager in Burlington, Massachusetts

This position is responsible for the development and systematic maintenance of the quality document control system. This includes lot releases, compliance with and establishment of QA standard operating procedures, training employees to these procedures and reviewing engineering change control submittals. In addition, this position will supervise Document Control staff involved in the review and approval of documentation.

  • Ensure Document Control personnel development is in line with the quality department and company goals.

  • Implement systems in document control that will increase efficiencies for document control users.

  • Lead various quality systems processes, controls, and improvements

  • Conducts DHR review and product releases.

  • Reviews Engineering Change Orders.

  • Manages users and content within the electronic document software program.

  • Develops systems for organizing and maintaining filing system for both electronic and paper systems.

  • Updates and initiate Standard Operating Procedure for area of responsibility

  • Manages quality Standard Operating Procedures training program.

  • Participate in internal and external audit activities

  • Provides back up to the Quality Assurance/Quality Control group

  • Ensure the compliance with government and industry quality codes and standards

  • Responsible for overseeing the Document Control Staff

  • Managing employees.

Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 to 10 years of experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the management of quality systems. Experience with Medical Devices is required.
