Oracle Senior Presales Consultant (Tiger Team, East) in Burlington, Massachusetts

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

Summary:



The Solution Consultant role, working with other members of the Sales organization, sells the value of NetSuite to prospective customers. As a member of the premier Tiger pre-sales team, you will contribute throughout the sales process in the areas of requirements analysis, solution development, and in-depth product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefit of the NetSuite solution. This regularly involves working with a wide range of resources including NetSuite team members, specialty teams, other Oracle sales teams and 3rd party partners. In this role, depth of finance and industry experience together with NetSuite product knowledge, make the SC a key trusted advisor to our prospects during the sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

o Develop, present and deliver high-impact demonstrations of the NetSuite solution

o Manage and prioritize sales opportunities

o Clearly articulate the benefits of NetSuite's applications to all levels including line of business managers and "C" level executives

o Communicate clear and accurate solution details to sales, professional services and other teams to support the development of effective implementation plans that are in sync with your high-impact demonstrations.

o Continue to develop yourself with both directed and self-directed training and continuing education

o Contribute to the continuing development and improvement of the Sales team and the NetSuite application, by actively looking for, exploring and communicating process and product enhancements as well as participating in, and/or leading, one on one and team-based training and mentoring

Qualifications/Skills:

o Strong understanding of the Financial Management/Accounting/ERP areas:

Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Fixed Assets, Financials (GAAP & IFRS) & Reporting

o Demonstrated proficiency to identify and solve complex business problems with NetSuite or other ERP solutions.

o At least 3 years of recent Sales Consulting experience with an ERP solution.

o Strong verbal and written communication skills: sales strategy, needs analysis, competitive positioning and value messaging.

o Strong presentation skills and experience interacting with C Level business leaders.

o BS degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance. CPA or advanced degree desirable.

o Experience with Inventory Management, Manufacturing and/or Projecting Accounting is desirable.

Requirements:

Preferred Location: East Coast based is ideal to support East Tiger Team Sales Reps. (Open to other locations for the right candidate but could cause travel requirements to increase.)
