Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Financial Planning, the analyst will support the Financial Planning function of Lahey Health System. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills. The position will be involved in analytics related to: physician practice acquisition, financial statement forecasting and physician compensation to name a few,
Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to: 1) Support LHS business planning process – develop and summarize P&Ls, balance sheets, financial metrics, etc. for system wide business plans. 2) Summarize data related to potential physician practice acquisitions and report findings to Director. 3) Maintain a financial statement forecasting tool. 4) Collaborate with internal stakeholders as appropriate. 5) Interact with external stakeholders as appropriate. 6) Provide analysis related to various LHS physician compensation programs. 7) Actively participate in department strategy discussions. Perform all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance related field or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree preferred. Licensure, Certification & Registration: None. Experience: 1 to 3 years of related work experience in Finance or Accounting Management. Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
