Job Overview

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of the brewer electronic design, from sustaining existing designs through new designs for future products. The day to day activities are diverse, often including projects such as a paper and lab analysis of an existing design, customer return analysis, sub-circuit design and PCBA design, along with lab verification and validation of new designs and assisting with testing for safety and regulatory compliance.

What you will do:

  • Develop electronics for brewer product functionality.

  • Maintain and upgrade Keurig current beverage brewing systems

  • Root cause investigation of brewer issues and design, implementation and verification of corrective action

  • Select and verify low cost and reliable electronic components for high volume brewer production

  • Partner with Asia-based manufacturing partners to transition designs to volume production

  • Follow all Keurig Green Mountain policies and procedures


What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineeringor related Engineering

  • 3-6+ years mixed-signal embedded system design experience

  • Working knowledge of E-CAD design tools such as schematic capture, PCB layout and Spice simulation

  • Ability to perform board level analog, mixed analog/digital and / or microcontroller circuit design, analysis, build and verification, including lab analysis and debug

  • Must be hands-on and results-oriented individual contributor committed to team success and willing to do the simple or complicated tasks to move the project forward

  • Able to work effectively with all personnel and levels including management, engineers, technicians and temporary employees

Additional Desired Experience:

  • High volume consumer electronics / appliances experience preferred

  • Experience with microcontrollers & sensor circuits

  • Familiar with electro-mechanical parts such as air pumps, valves, motors, etc.

  • Software / firmware programming in C/C++ a plus

  • Exposure to agile development techniques
