Job Description

CVS Health is taking on major initiatives to reimagine and rebuild many of its customer facing digital experiences and assets using industry leading agile development practices and contemporary technology strategies to deliver innovative and high-quality software. CVS Health Enterprise Digital is a specialized agile software product delivery organization within the greater CVS Health enterprise which designs, builds, and delivers consumer-grade digital experiences for CVS Health customers. We believe in the culture and values of a lean start-up within the broader enterprise and put into practice every day the principals of agile methodology, servant leadership, continuous learning, and relentless improvement.CVS Health Digital is looking for a Director of Software Delivery Platform Engineering who provides leadership for the creation and enablement of our self-service infrastructure platform. As a software leader you will use your skills to support, manage and mentor both managers and software engineering professionals with deep technical backgrounds and experiences to deliver high quality solutions that enable the maturation and realization of our Digital Foundational Platform. Your leadership expertise, experience and success is critical to enabling teams that will deliver cutting edge business applications on our platform.

Required Qualifications

•10+ years of managing software development teams, within an enterprise software development domain• Experience in leading medium to large sized teams of diverse development engineers across multiple locations•5+ years of experience executing within an Agile Framework

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing self-service to engineers through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation principles.• Experience creating tools and process to automate end-to-end development pipelines, from inception to production, via CI/CD best practices. • Experience leveraging container-based technologies • Experience with AWS, GCP and other cloud-based services• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; thrives working in a highly iterative, agile, and open team environment


Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
