Keurig Dr Pepper Communications Specialist in Burlington, Massachusetts
The Communications Specialist assists with planning, coordinating, and executing Corporate Communications initiatives at Keurig Dr Pepper. This role will wear different hats on a daily basis – including managing processes and projects that support our corporate affairs agenda, tracking/analysis of media coverage, coordinating photo and video needs and looking for new ways to help the team work more strategically and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have tangible experience in project management and organization.
What you will do:
Oversee robust project management for various communications programs and initiatives, including corporate reports and photography/video shoots, ensuring production schedule is adhered to
Contribute to strategic media relations outreach efforts, including drafting and editing spokesperson briefing materials and reporter backgrounders
Support company and industry media monitoring and reporting, finding ways to champion and share results across the organization
Manage the media relations inbox, filtering incoming requests and working with internal stakeholders to gather information for appropriate responses
Support development of corporate website and corporate social media content
Review opportunities for company awards and speaking engagements and support development of applications/submissions
Maintain regular database of up-to-date company statistics and accolades, ensuring consistent and accurate dissemination for use cross-functionally
Maintain enterprise-wide corporate communications and editorial calendar across all external communications platform channels, including tracking corporate events
Build relationships across the business to identify initiatives and story ideas to leverage in external communications
What you must have:
Bachelor’s Degree required in Communications, Journalism or English degree or equivalent required
2-5 years of public relations or communications experience – agency or in-house
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
Possesses clear ability to manage multiple projects at once while demonstrating strong composure and flexibility under tight deadlines
Team player, ability to build strong relations internally across functional areas and externally with vendors, suppliers, and other constituents
Self-starter, highly motivated, and ability to work independently
Commitment to company purpose and values
Ability to travel occasionally as required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
