As a Telesales Business Development Representative you will act as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business with outbound telemarketing calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produce quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.
Ability to demonstrate time management, telesales skills and knowledge of Oracle products and services (training provided). Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills. Ability to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products preferred. Desire for a long-term career in sales preferred. Two years relevant business experience preferred.

The primary focus of a Business Development Consultant is to generate pipeline for the Oracles Global Business Units (GBU). The GBUs focus on Industry specific applications that are typically mission critical to that company. Pipeline is primarily generated through outbound campaigns by emailing, social and phone outreach. In addition, BDCs will typically receive some level of inbound Marketing Qualified leads to follow up on. As a Business Development Consultant, you will act as the first contact for many prospects starting sales cycles for industry specific solutions. A BDC qualifies prospects and produces quality leads & opportunities for the GBU Field Sales Team.

Sourcing & qualifying quality pipeline for our field sales representatives
Strategizing and collaborating with field sale and marketing program stakeholders
Engaging prospects by email, social and phone focusing on decision makers at the director, VP and C level
Building a knowledge of the Oracle ecosphere and GBU solutions. Becoming a trusted advisor to prospects
Uncovering & qualifying prospective customer needs by understanding business challenges and engaging with key decision-making personas.
Demonstrating initiative, creativity & collaboration through ad-hoc projects for various departments
Displaying teamwork, sharing best practices, collaboration and mentoring new hires
You have a Bachelor’s Degree.
You have 1+ years of sales, business development or sales related experience. Software and technology experience is not required . A high preference for candidates with some prospecting experience
You have a strong desire for a career in sales, working for a top tier technology company
