Oracle Alliances Consultant - North America Cloud in Burlington, Massachusetts

Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners.

Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.

Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Prefer strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills. Prefer 5 years of related experience. Secondary education in Marketing or a related field preferred.

The NATD Cloud Alliances Consultant will be responsible for working with Oracle North America cloud platform sales representatives and the top cloud platform regional systems integrators to drive joint customer sales. The role will require a business development leader who can work across a multiple direct and indirect sales virtual teams to identify, qualify and progress joint cloud sales pipeline with commercial customers. Quarterly and bi-weekly budget attainment pipeline reviews will be expected to drive annual pipeline and booking sales targets. The ideal candidate must have at minimum 2-5 years of sales experience with at least 1 year experience selling public cloud to commercial customers. Experience in a quota carrying telesales or channel sales position with public cloud platform or infrastructure vendor such as AWS, Microsoft or Google is a plus. Approximately 25 % travel expected. Preference will be given to diverse external candidates based near Burlington,MA Austin,TX Santa Monica,CA Redwood Shores,CA or Seattle,WA Oracle office hub locations.

Role Summary :

You will actively find & qualify joint Oracle Sales / Partner customer sales engagements and become a vital subject matter expert for Oracle Digital(OD) telesales sales vice presidents.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage pipeline & budget (i.e. Budget of $250k to deliver 83 POVs this year)

  • Report on Return on Investment (i.e. 25% conversion to monthly commitment sales)

  • Assist with Oracle Digital Executive Vice President and higher quarterly program sales reviews

  • Assist with Oracle Digital Regional Manager pipeline review and program briefing requests

  • Liaison to Oracle Digital tele sales reps and regional channel sales teams for deal pursuits

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Relevant Bachelor s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2-3 years of sales experience

  • 1 year selling public cloud offerings to commercial customers

  • Ability to innovate and evolve plans to a changing environment

  • Excellent presentation and executive communication skills

  • Leadership across multiple virtual teams, including more senior team members

  • Native cloud experience, quota-carrying telesales, hub-location & diversity are all a plus
