Atlantic Heating & Air Co HVAC Service Technician in Brookline, Massachusetts

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a HVAC Service Technician with 2+ years’ experience. This individual must have knowledge in boilers, furnaces, air conditioning units (up to 5 tons), controls, and heat pumps. We are a company with high standards and are committed to hiring and retaining high quality professionals.
What We Offer:
Pay range up to $40.00 an hour depending on experience, plus monthly commissions, and annual bonus
On call status is paid "Double Time"

$1,000.00 hiring bonus after the first 90 days
$1,000.00 hiring bonus after one full year
Hours & Working Conditions:
Average 40+ hours per week
Overtime/weekend work as required
May work outside, in crawlspaces, and attics
Some lifting and physical exertion required
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform planned service on HVAC equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment
Install parts in HVAC equipment
Complete paperwork/computer work required by management and record hours and all materials used
Collect payment for work performed if applicable
Return unused material and inventory
Keep assigned vehicle organized and clean
Track vehicle maintenance and alert management when maintenance is necessary
Contact the supervisor following the completion of each job, providing requested information regarding the work completed
Identify and suggest opportunities for quality and cost improvements
Other duties as needed
Job Requirements:
EPA certified
2 or more years of experience as a HVAC/R service technician
Ability to follow controls/wiring schematic
Knowledge with standard technician tools
Valid driver’s license
Clean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for home service companies and by company insurance carrier(s)
Neat, clean, professional appearance
