XRHealth Healthcare Business Development Representative in Brookline, Massachusetts

What we are looking for:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will drive demand for XRHealth in a variety of ways including; qualifying and converting inbound leads from marketing and referrals (75% of the role); engaging in outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, and social media; and appointment setting. This person needs to be comfortable engaging with prospective patients.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads for the sales organization to pursue and set introductory calls with prospects for sales and account managers

  • Receive pre-determined groups of prospects back from sales for further nurturing using both the telephone and email

  • Process and qualify all inbound leads

  • Educate the patient about the patient journey and next steps, including guidance on the company’s product and it’s components

  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts on the volume of opportunities created

  • Track and manage prospecting, qualification and nurture activities in Salesforce

Role KPIs:

  • Number of appointments set

  • Opportunities created

  • Patients converted to initial evaluation from leads

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 6+ months in patient facing, healthcare, or insurance industry experience strongly preferred; experience in a sales role

  • Comfortable making a high volume of calls on a daily basis

  • Salesforce Experience preferred

Preferred Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Active listening to assess prospect needs and opportunities

  • Ability to articulate a reasonable premise for every call

  • Ability to perform prospect and account research to prepare for calls; uses social media tools to monitor targeted accounts and identify trigger events for follow up

  • Ability to interpret data to personalize outbound communications

  • Discipline to maintain high call volumes (40 or more outbound calls per day)

  • Natural curiosity to interface with others and ask questions; not easily intimidated by lack of knowledge or the seniority of the prospect

  • Exhibits empathy for other's problems and challenges

  • Competitive and motivated; self-starter who takes initiative to achieve goals

  • Team player who is coachable and has an eagerness to learn

  • Desires to continue to learn, be it to further his/her career in inside sales or perhaps to move into a field position
