Aerotek Staffing Machine Operator in Brockton, Massachusetts
Location: Brockton MA Job Title: Machine Operator Shift: 1st & 2nd Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM & 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Pay: \$17.50 - \$20 Job Description: Compounder / Mixer will measure ingredients for production. Record lot codes, follow directions on formula. Will work in a fast paced warm environment. Need good math skills and ability to read/write in English Responsible for preparing products in accordance with formula specifications and regulatory standards. Performs related job duties as required. Maintains work area, and receives and stores supplies in compliance with established procedures. Keeps management informed of area activities and significant problems. Follows all established safety regulations. Assumes responsibility for proper preparation of product for mixing and/or packing. Inventories supply levels daily. Accurate use of RF Scanner gun Requisitions proper amounts of ingredients and supplies from the warehouse. Measures out ingredients in accordance with established procedures. Adds measured out ingredients to mixing/cooking area and cooks and prepares product according to required processes. Follows all established storage, preparation, and cooking, requirements. Responsible for food safety and quality of the product produced or packaged on a daily basis. Initiate corrective action by reporting any food safety or quality problems/issues to supervisor or designee. Assumes responsibility for safe and clean product preparation. Environment: Food Manufacturing Facility. Leading supplier of ingredients including bases, toppings, variegates, caramels, chocolates and fruit for industries from dairy to confectionery, frozen dessert to bakery. They also offer a customized line of a variety of items. Culture: Fast paced manufacturing. Very production oriented, need to hit numbers for daily output. Worker subject to odors, dusts. Room is climate controlled.
