Inframark Instrument Technician II in Brockton, Massachusetts

Job Description


The Instrument Technician II is responsible for installing, replacing, repairing and maintaining various types of electrical/instrumentation components in support of wastewater operations


  • Performs various maintenance tasks in support of all instrumentation.

  • Cleans and maintains tools and equipment.

  • Prepares rigs for daily use.

  • Maintains, repairs and calibrates flow meters, chart recorders, samplers, controllers, pH & dissolved meters other instruments.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Willing to work all shifts, including: weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.

Education/Experience : High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience or equivalent training in electronics/instrumentation.

Licenses/Certifications : Valid Driver’s License (Class B CDL preferred). Other licenses (may vary according to specific site and assignments): VT-SCADA knowledge and experience highly preferred.

Technical : Ability to follow manual & operating instructions. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. Working knowledge of controllers, feedback and feed forward controller systems, process control systems, flow meters and related instruments.

Communication : Communicates clearly & professionally. Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience. Maintains composure in challenging situations. Collaborates with others. Asks for constructive feedback.

Must be able to: frequently lift 50-60 pounds; load, unload & move large equipment/tools; access confined spaces; continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders.
