Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated Forklift Operators to join our team. The Forklift Operators will be responsible for picking orders using both sit-down and stand-up forklifts as well as electric pallet jacks. Other duties include unloading and loading trucks, verifying orders, and moving finished products. The successful candidate will also participate in the implementation of a new warehouse management system and receive training in shipping and receiving. Candidates will be cross-trained to work in a variety of different areas including shipping & receiving.

Hard Skills

• 2-5 years of forklift experience (stand or sit down)

• Warehouse management

• Shipping and receiving

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 months.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Brockton, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced food manufacturing facility, known for being a leading supplier of a wide variety of ingredients for industries ranging from dairy to bakery. The facility is very production-oriented with a focus on meeting daily output goals. Workers will be subject to odors and dust. However, the room is climate-controlled. We have openings on various shifts: 1st Shift runs from 7:00am - 3:30pm and 2nd Shift from 3:30pm - midnight.
