We have a new and exciting Sr. Data Quality Engineer opportunity at Bose. This role will report to Data Governance Technology lead. The department is working to build a world class data driven organization that includes Data Governance enabling advanced analytics and Data Science across Bose. We are looking for a highly skilled professional who can using techniques and tools to measure, control, monitor and improve the quality of data needed for key business processes.

Defining corporate Data Quality framework, establishing Data Quality Improvement life cycle, Data Quality SLA, and KPIs
Work with internal customers on developing action plans to resolve Data Quality issues, perform root cause analysis of data discrepancies across different applications and architectural layers
Design data quality rules according to business requirements and reverse engineering of existing data processes
Support Data Science, Advanced Analytics and Enterprise Architecture project/programs by enforcing best practices and providing solution to data quality challenges
Own the support for the day-day execution of the Data Quality applications as well as anticipate new issues and functionalities.
Provide consistent communications to the stakeholders? community on Data Quality state to ensure transparency on new features, existing challenges and use case success.
Skills, Knowledge and Experiences
End-to-end experience with Data Quality management initiatives, including requirements gathering, data discovery, profiling, cleansing and standardization, rules management, monitoring, reporting etc
Ability to understand complex data models, data lineage and transformations through multiple systems
Experience with data management disciplines such as Data Governance, MDM, Data integration, Data warehouses, Data Lakes etc
Experience with BI/reporting/analytics platforms (e.g. PBI, Tableau)
Experience with Enterprise Data Quality tools (e.g. Talend, IDQ)
Experience with SAP is a plus (ECC, CRM, BW, HANA, Ariba)
Experience with Collibra and MuleSoft is a plus
Detail oriented, self-motivated, excellent communicator, strong analytical orientation
Proven experience of cross functional activity in complex organizations with strong emphasis on influencing and collaboration.
Passion for Data, Data Quality and process.
Bachelor's degree or higher
Position is in Boston Landing office (Brighton, MA)
Relocation support is not available for this position.
