Insight Global Tier 3 Support Specialist in Braintree, Massachusetts

Job Description

Insight Global is proud to be an exclusive partner to our local healthcare client looking for a Tier 3 Support Specialist to join their growing company! The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling advanced technical issues that cannot be resolved by Tier 1 and Tier 2 support staff. In their day-to-day they will be expected to perform hands on troubleshooting with Windows OS, utilize virtualization technologies, perform network engineering responsibilities on Cisco Meraki routers, wireless devices, and switches, and maintain/ configure Windows imaging systems. They are also responsible for set-up, installation, troubleshooting, service, upgrades, and maintenance of computers, tablets, smartphones, printers, and other similar devices.

This candidate should be local to the South Shore in Massachusetts for this onsite position and able to travel to certain locations for the client and be a very hands-on senior support resource for the team. This "jack of all trades" is expected to be have deep experience in their field and provide back-end support, often dealing with complex server, network, and hardware problems. Knowledge in all aspects of computer support, diligent and analytical, possessing outstanding communication skills, and working independently is crucial to succeed. Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

8+ years of Tier 3 IT engineer/ technician support experience

End to end server installation, configuration, maintenance experience

Experience installing Windows systems, working with Active Directory, Cisco/Meraki routers/switches, VPNs, HP Network Print Devices, Wireless Technology, and familiarity with VoIP Telephony systems

This person should have an understanding of scripting using tools like PowerShell, and have experience with PC migrations and server operating systems

Mobility -- a vehicle is a MUST as this individual will travel to and from the various client sites and assist with on-site end user support

Able to lift 30-40 pound materials Network Engineer with LAN and WAN experience, understanding and experience with Nutanix AHV virtualization, understanding of MS Azure and AWS null
