Located in the Maintenance department and supporting site operations across all value streams. Lead level role that is responsible for leading Maintenance team. Run shift meetings, assign work and provide technical support as needed to meet production goals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to team members in Maintenancedepartment
Responsible for the calibration of equipment forthe site
Inspect sites regularly to identify problems andnecessary maintenance
Prepare weekly maintenance schedulesand allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
Delegatetasks and provide hands-on support as needed.
Oversee allrepairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
Provideinput to enforce preventive and reactive maintenance schedules.
Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure properstorage.
Lead problem solving efforts, coach team members inresolving conflicts and achieving results.
Assistmanager/supervisor in monitoring and communicating Environmental,Health, & Safety requirements to area employees.
Identify personnel related issues in department, includingconflicts and incidents of misconduct and communicate withmanager.
Ensure team members are compliant with QualitySystems in all functions.
Support operational excellenceactivities in Maintenance and value streams.

Expected Areas of Competence
Effective verbal and written communication across differentlevels and departments.
Understand and comply withregulatory requirements (Quality Systems Regulations, ISO, MDD,Quality Manual, EHS, etc.) as they apply to medical devicesmanufacturing.
Partner with supporting functions, internaland external stakeholders including external suppliers to deliverrequired results.
Able to read and write in the Englishlanguage.
Education/Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
A thoroughtechnical understanding of functional discipline is required, whichmay require advanced training or education as relevant.
Experience typically gained through five or more years inMaintenance role, including at least one year at MaintenanceTechnician level, plus demonstrated ability to lead in a productionenvironment.
Previous production experience or experiencewith good manufacturing practices is preferred.
