Penn Foster Workforce Reporting Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts
Position Summary:The Workforce Reporting Analyst is an integral member of Penn Foster’s Academic team. This role will work closely with the Academic leadership and project teams to ensure proper staffing levels of faculty and other staff to handle student interactions and project work. The Workforce Re porting Analyst will gather, interpret, and analyze workflow data and metrics to make capacity recommendations and maximize utilization rates. This role will apply analytics models and projections on staffing to enhance forecasting accuracy and to improve workforce decision making.
Essential Job Functions:
Gather, interpret, and analyze workflow data and metrics into current Excel spreadsheets
Create a new capacity planning dashboard
Ensure accurate recording and reporting of workflow data
Interact effectively with academic leadership
Partner with capacity and workflow stakeholders across the organization to ensure shared methodologies
Partner with leaders across Education to evaluate and implement opportunities for improving and automating workflow processes
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field
Advanced Excel skills (must be proficient with Picot Tables and Vlookup)
Proven analytical skills and creativity
Attention to detail, accuracy and data quality are a must
Proven forecasting and scheduling experience
Experience with WFM technologies (Workfront and Aspect a plus)
Knowledge of Visual basic and SAP Business Objects a plus
Collaborative and professional work ethic
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with a diverse group
