Meta Wireless HW Module and Subsystem Technical Program Manager (TPM) in Boston, Massachusetts


As a Wireless HW Module and Subsystem Technical Program Manager (TPM) in FRL/Portal/Wearables, you will lead multidisciplinary programs through the product development process to develop custom and semi-custom HW Module modules/subsystems and embedded SW to drive our industry-leading HW systems. You will establish requirements with internal and external customers, manage program schedules, identify risks and associated mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to program stakeholders. Required Skills:

Wireless HW Module and Subsystem Technical Program Manager (TPM) Responsibilities:

  1. As part of the Wireless HW Module and Subsystem team, you will drive and track the investigation, definition and delivery of wireless modules, subsystems, antennas, and embedded SW/FW

  2. Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times and business needs

  3. Manage communication within, and between, internal engineering and external vendor teams

  4. Assist engineering and sourcing teams with supplier evaluation and selection

  5. Work with teams to set milestones, communicate program statuses, and identify/address potential setbacks

  6. Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and technology development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery

  7. Manage delivery of samples and mass production parts for the different builds

  8. Organize required face to face on site meetings with vendors

  9. Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables, including specifications, design options, and test plans

  10. Ensure program documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review

  11. Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success

  12. Up to 20% travel

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years experience working as a wireless technology (WiFi/BT) development program manager for consumer electronics

  2. 5+ years experience working on Wireless HW modules, antennas, or subsystems in HW

  3. Engineering design experience in wireless module in either RF/Desense/Antenna/DVT/FW etc.

  4. Knowledge of E2E program delivery and issue debugging with engineering partner

  5. Experience operating autonomously across multiple cross functional teams on ambiguous/complex programs. (one or more programs at once)

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years experience working on Wireless software and Firmware design and development

  2. Experience with cellular technology (up to 5G knowledge)

  3. Experience with carrier certification

  4. Experience with regulatory certification

  5. Experience with component and module qualification, validation and characterization processes

  6. Understanding of phase gate approach to technology development projects

  7. BS in Engineering field or equivalent experience

Public Compensation:

$167,000/year to $228,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
