JPMorgan Chase Wealth Management, Life Insurance Specialist, Vice President in Boston, Massachusetts

The VP, Life Insurance Specialist will work with and support the Head of JPMA Life Insurance. The candidate will provide support to advisors across JPMorgan Securities on utilizing life insurance solutions to meet client investment, wealth transfer and income planning needs around the Goals Based Advice Framework and is responsible for covering an assigned geographic territory. The candidate will be familiar with the life insurance and the retirement industry, and can effectively manage between sales and service support needs of the product.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building new and maintaining existing relationships with advisors to increase adoption of life insurance solutions with their clients - ensuring trust from advisors is crucial for the successful execution of the role

  • Conduct meetings with financial advisors and clients to educate on and implement life insurance products at the point-of-sale - additionally, actively consult and advise advisors to provide them with value-added strategies to increase advisor adoption

  • Collaborate with advisors to include insurance and wealth transfer planning applications in goals-based plans for clients; ability to educate advisors on life insurance products, planning applications, and the process of delivering life insurance solutions

  • Coordinating, planning, and presenting educational webinars for advisors in addition to other marketing campaigns, and track success results based on statistical data and key performance indicators

  • Maintain and manage relationships with internal and external partners in order to deliver a world class experience and scale the life insurance offering to the firm

  • Actively participates and contributes to the goals and objectives of the firm by working collaboratively and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent work experience

  • Relevant years within financial services and a leadership role

  • Experience in working with advisors

  • Excellent relationship building, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi - task and work in a fast-paced team environment

  • Motivated and independent worker with a sense of urgency and results focused

  • FINRA 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required

  • Active Life & Health insurance license
