Description

Our client, a well established VC firm, is seeking a VC Fund Accountant to join their finance team.

Great opportunity for a 2-3 year Big 4 auditor to make the transition to industry.

You will join a great team and get involved in expense and investment plans, capital calls / distribution forecasting, Quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and review, valuations, waterfall analyses, and performance. This is meant to be an accounting-based role but lots of opportunity to use analytical skills!

Excellent compensation is included. Total comp in the low 100s.

Requirements

Ideal candidate is:

• 2-4+ years of big 4 or Top 10 National Audit Firm experience; CPA helpful

• Alternative Investment clients - PE, VC, HF etc. (some VC is ideal, of course)

• Strong analytical skills must.

• Strong communication skills must.
