The Custody and Fund Services business provides middle office services, custody, accounting and administration for investment managers and asset owners, including mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity, real estate funds, pension funds, and fund of funds.
Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) is a key fund services product that provides asset managers the ability to leverage JP Morgan's operational expertise and market leading technology and data infrastructure to manage their trade processing, asset servicing, collateral management, and investment record capabilities. The product encompasses a multi-asset class offering across listed securities, equity swaps, cleared and OTC derivatives, and bank loans, focusing on the needs of large asset managers.
Position Roles and Responsibilities:
Ideal candidate will have client service, project management and financial service experience. Role will include coordination and management of projects supporting client on-boarding program and strategic platform enhancements. Responsibilities include detail planning, monitoring of project status, coordination of interdependencies of projects and client requests. Oversees all aspects of the project; plan execution, resource planning and status reporting.
Manages one or more large projects, multiple mid to large projects or other process improvement initiatives, with possible cross-department or Lines of Business impact.
Leads project team through project lifecycle from ideation to project execution, including the approval and demand management process, and ensures quality and timeliness of project completion
Directs activities, monitors details and sets priorities
Escalates project issues and risks appropriately, and drives them to resolution
Participate and assist in gathering business requirements, detailed analysis and process design specific to the project
Provide verbal and written status updates as required to support senior management with timely and accurate maintenance and archiving of program artefacts.
Understand the risk profile of each initiative and apply appropriate & effective control mechanisms with clear ownership & governance, with active management of Risks, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies (RAID)
Develop and manage a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, issues and risks
Aligns to strategic program and project interdependencies
Strong presentation skills and communication skills - Ability to organize, communicate with, and influence a range of audiences internally and externally; expectation to display exceptional logical writing and verbal communication skills, including ability to convey complex ideas simply
Analytical skills -Expected to disseminate information and present data in a logical manner and ultimately contribute to future product delivery and able to understand a diverse and complex technology and operations infrastructure
Change Management - Experience in driving a change agenda and strength in developing innovative solutions to new challenges

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
6-10 Years' Experience in Financial Services Industry
Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies and best practice
Energetic self-starter with ability to drive delivery of the strategic vision with demonstrated effectiveness leading a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent communication capabilities, clearly and succinctly message with appropriate level of detail to cross-functional teams, senior management, and clients
Strong collaboration skills, able to work with many different individuals and partner effectively with different groups
Strong program management skills, must be organized and able to develop a program plan and break down into achievable deliverables
Proven track record of effectively resolving issues and conflicts to ensure timely delivery
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
